Agora review

Been coming here for the past few years.. and I can definitely say Agora is on my list for greatest coffee-shops in Houston. I recently tried one of the holiday lattes. I would definitely suggest trying a holiday beverage while its still on the menu. I don't usually order seasonal beverages, as I find them mostly too sweet. But Agora's cannot be compared to the typical Starbucks. It is far better. I decided on the gingerbread latte and I was pleasantly delighted. The beverage was warm, aromatic, and lightly spiced. I love the Greek, American, and European desserts showcased here as well. One of my favorites being the melomakorana cookie, which is a crispy nutty cookie doused in honey and cinnamon. Perfectly paired with a steaming cup of coffee. Mmm good! The diversity of visitors has definitely grown as well. There is still plenty of seating everytime I come in. That is always a major plus when visiting Agora's. Overall a great place to relax and have a nice cup of coffee or tea.
