A few questions about the scale

Why does the scale start at "Try at least once"?

Every business we feature has earned a baseline recommendation. "Try at Least Once" means it's worth experiencing firsthand, even before we've been back enough times to rate it higher.

Is Sara's Pick the same as a numeric score?

No. It's the top of a six-level editorial scale, not a star rating or percentage. It reflects Sara's personal, considered endorsement.

Can a recommendation change?

Yes. A rating reflects our most recent visit. If a place changes, up or down, we update the rating and note what changed.

Can members share a different opinion?

Yes. Our rating is our own editorial take. Members are welcome to share their own experience, and we welcome hearing where it differs from ours.
