I first visited BlendIn Coffee Club two months ago when they had just opened. It's a new cafe in Sugar Land thats tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. We are seriously lacking good coffee houses in this part of town and BlendIn steals the spotlight in this case. I really like the unassuming building and it might have been a bank in its past life. The parking is plentiful and the vibes are minimal. Both the exterior and interior have a crisp and clean look. Upon entering, you'll notice a lab room where they have coffee sampling classes. There is also a wall that contains different kinds of coffee products (siphons and coffee blends). Judging by the atmosphere alone.. you can tell that they take their coffee seriously here. Love the style of this place.. with its unique pod shaped seating and different styles of tables. There's an art gallery towards the back of the cafe as well. Brings upon artistic and minimal vibes. In terms of their coffee.. I recommend the caffe latte with honey. The beans are quite strong and aromatic here. The honey cuts through and brings in a smooth and sweet taste. If you're not into strong coffee then I really wouldn't recommend BlendIn. I've left with a "coffee buzz" a few times around. Mind you, I drink all kinds of coffee but this is truly the rich and dark stuff. I've tried their iced latte as well and its also great. I recommend their iced vanilla latte on a warm day. They also have a lovely white tea with pear. Its fragrant, soothing, and comes in a cute Japanese style tea pot. A good friend of mine ordered their hot cocoa. It looked good and she enjoyed her beverage. They basically have something for everyone here. Pastries/desserts are far and few. I have tried the french macaron and it was crisp and fresh. They also serve up crepe cakes which are hard to find in cafes. Overall, I recommend Blendin for their simplicity and all things coffee. Just don't show up after 6:30 p.m... they are closed by then! :)
What we tried
Sara's visit centered on latte, coffee, tea, pastries. The strongest impression was the quality and flavor of the items that stood out, along with the overall experience around them.
