Sara's full firsthand review

I came in here last night with a group of friends. It was helpful to have a buddy of mine that frequents Bellaire. He was able to recommend us to some nice places. One word: Cute! As soon as we stepped in, I noticed the brilliant colours and design. I love the decor of this cafe. I was very much in the mood for pearl tea, so I was pleased to find out they have a diverse menu full of drinks. What made me even more content was the fact that they serve lychee - green tea. I cannot find it at any other boba places. So I immediately ordered my lychee pearl tea drink, and was very much pleased with my decision! It was downright flavourful, fragrant, and exotic. The boba was chewy, firm, and sweet : perfect. I love the glass they served it with as well. Now on to the f o o d... My dish was tasty and flavourful. I decided on the Udon Shrimp with Vegetables. The noodles were steaming and soft. The vegetables were crispy and fresh. Shrimp were fresh as well, with an al dente bite to them. The meal was served on a cute box tray, with a sample of tapioca pudding as a small sweet treat. The pudding was made with coconut milk, and served with red beans. Mm! :) Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Cafe 101. We came on a Thursday night, and the place was bustling with liveliness. I will definitely come back again with my friends.
