Guru Burgers & Bowls review

Awesome fusion cuisine done right. Ive been to Guru's twice so far and have enjoyed my dining experience. The first time I came in here, I ordered the shaggy crepe. Its a savoury crepe which consists of minced salmon and shredded crab. I was a bit unsure how seafood would taste in a crepe, but I went ahead and ordered it anyways. I'm never afraid in trying out new food concoctions. Overall, I was satisfied with my decision, because the crepe was amazing. I loved the exotic taste of my meal and how the seafood blended well with the flavours. An organic bed of salad was also included with the crepe which had a light and crispy taste. I enjoyed the salad greens which were also included with a grilled lemon. The taste of this lemon was juicy and flavourful. The sriracha sauce that was drizzled on top of the crepe gave it a nice and spicy kick. The second time I came in here, I ordered the salmon burger. Another great decision! The flavour of the salmon burger was delicious. The meal was freshly prepared which consisted of a citrus aioli and paired with guacamole on the side. I was curious about trying the yucca fries on the menu, so I went ahead and ordered them. The fries were pleasantly tasty and filling. The yucca fries are different than your ordinary russet potato fries. They are more starchy and fibrous. The fries came with a roasted red and green bell pepper relish, which was light and smoky. Overall, I have had good experiences here at Guru's Burger and Crepes. I will definitely come back to try new dishes and experience their sweet items on the menu. The mascarpone crepe is calling to me and im excited to try it in the near future! PS - You should support this joint because they believe in serving their customers healthy, local, organic, and gluten free foods. Those options are always a plus!
