Jus’ Mac Sugar Land review

I finally had the chance to try Jus' Mac a few days ago. I have known about this mac and cheese eatery since the original location was developed in the Heights. Fast forward two years, and I am sitting in a location that is tucked away in my neighborhood. It's good to know that this eatery has expanded and is now in close proximity to me. My friend and I randomly went the other day, and had a nice experience. The interior of the restaurant is cute and casual with an urban feel. I like the simplicity of the restaurant, and how it showcases various concoctions of macaroni and cheese. There are even panini's featured on the menu, which is wonderful, as not everyone is a fan of mac and cheese. So I tried the popeye mac and cheese, which consisted of a creamy white cheese, tossed with baby spinach, mushrooms, and onions. The order arrived as soon as possible, and the mac and cheese was crisp and golden to perfection. The dish was served in a small cast iron skillet, and the meal was hot and bubbly. As a huge fan of mac and cheese, I happily finished my meal without any guilt. The flavours were perfectly seasoned, and well balanced. I appreciated the fact that my dish was not too salty, as most other restaurants serve a rather salty mac and cheese. Overall I had a good experience at Jus Mac, and will be back soon again. Its nice to have a unique restaurant in town that showcases an American classic. This place defines that sort of image, and will definitely do well during the fall season, when people are looking for warm food that's nourishing and comforting!
