Would Go Again
“Minimal.. clean..”

Sara's full firsthand review

Minimal.. clean.. sleek atmosphere. I had the chance to visit Luce Ave Coffee Roasters last month with a friend. This little coffee shop is centrally located within the inner loop and makes for a nice place to hangout. Upon entering, you'll notice how small and narrow the cafe is. There are a few tables lined up against the wall. Towards the back, you'll notice some colorful artwork and a coffee roasting machine. Gives the place some unique aesthetics and modern feel. Due to it being the winter holidays, I ordered the peppermint mocha latte. Along with my latte, I picked up the chocolate chip cookie which I think they make in house. They also serve up muffins and a few other pastries. Anyway, the baristas were incredibly friendly and answered all of our questions. They even brought us water to our table once we sat down. The peppermint mocha latte had a murky green color to it.. but nonetheless the flavor was strong yet smooth. We both enjoyed our coffee and the chocolate chip cookie was nice as well. The cookie was very chunky and chocolaty, but it was hard and seemed overbaked. Overall, the atmosphere is light and quiet. I enjoyed my time here at Luce Ave and would definitely revisit and try something new. The earl grey latte seems intriguing and is hard to find at most cafes. I'm a big fan of tea, so its great to see different options available. It's a nice cafe to drop by when in the midst of the inner loop. Until next time!
