Definitely worth visiting before or after checking out the Greenwich Market. I happened to stumble upon this place after strolling through the market. Glad to have found it. The lovely display of cakes and pastries looking throw the window was tempting enough. Lucky for me, I ended up eating a healthy, colorful and tasty lunch here. It was quite crowded inside on a Saturday afternoon. Ordered a grain and herb salad with a honey baked gooseberry and stilton cheese tart. The salad was crisp, fresh and brimming with fresh herbs. The tart was buttery, cheesy with a sweet mellow taste from the gooseberries. It was a lovely vegetarian meal that went well together. Had a pot of rose tea as well and asked for a small bit of honey. The rose tea was soothing and delightful. Paired quite well with the meal. Peyton and Bryne offer a great selection of sandwiches, salads, tarts, and pastries. Everything is made fresh and makes for a quick meal. They have some nice tasting coffee as well. Service was a bit rushed on such a busy day. There's a diverse selection of cafes in the area. Peyton and Bryne stood out like a classic cafe to try when in London. Definitely left satisfied. Nice neighborhood with many shops and galleries. It'd probably drop by again if visiting in the near future.
