SweetCup review

Local and fresh gelato! Unfortunately I was not wowed by this place.. I had been wanting to come here for the longest time.. Yet I was not satisfied as I thought I would be. Maybe I came in during the wrong time of the day? My friends and I arrived to SweetCup on a Saturday evening. Most of the flavors were almost finished and the products looked too soft for my liking. I chose two different flavors and I noticed they were too soft as if they had been scooped and mixed all day. The gelato had a melted texture and was not as firm and creamy as I hoped it would be. I did enjoy the flavors of the choices that I picked. The scooper guy was kind enough to allow sampling of many flavours. The cardamom flavour of the malai kulfi was my favorite. The pizzelle cookie that came with the gelato was appreciated as well. Overall, I will definitely visit SweetCup again in the future. Maybe next time in the afternoon, where the flavors will be at their freshest peak of perfection. Other than that, their are some other spots in town that also make pretty decent gelato.
