Mm-mm... yum!! Torchy's Tacos has some mean and flavourful taco's! I had always heard about this place and was happy to know that a location had made it to Rice Village. Now, I feel as if Rice Village is complete with plethora of unique eateries! Anywho.. back to the tacos.. I opted for the Mr. Pink Taco, which is a flavourful blackened salmon taco. For some reason, when my order got to me, it was served with a flour tortilla. I never asked for flour tortilla.. but I didnt mind too much. I'll try it with corn tortilla next time. The taco was still good anyways. I loved the flavour and the meaty-ness of the salmon. It was quite filling, and was garnished with corn, cilantro, tomatoes, and black beans. I also squeezed in a bunch of lime juice on my taco, which allowed the flavours to penetrate more thoroughly. I did notice that the salsa was missing from my taco.. but maybe it doesn't come with it? I'll have to ask next time. I also ordered the tortilla chips and guacamole. I enjoyed the fresh and crisp tortilla chips, as well as the creamy guacamole.. It wasn't the most tastiest guacamole I had.. but it was decent. I'm looking forward to trying the burrito and the other tacos Torchy's has to offer!
