Voodoo Doughnut review

This doughnut shop tucked on east 6th street is open 24 hours 7 days of the week! When you have a hankering for doughnuts.. this place will always be there for you. That's definitely magical for a shop called Voodoo Doughnuts. I'm glad that we have one here in Texas.. the far and few locations are tucked out in the West Coast. So.. this place did live up to its hype. Came here at night and this place was happening. That's normally not the vibe at doughnut shops. My sister and I dived in and grabbed a handful of different doughnuts. We came, saw, conquered and ate.. almost all of them. I recommend the apple fritter, any of the cake donuts, and the voodoo looking donut, which had a chocolate glaze to it. They were all scrumptious, fresh and fluffy. None of the doughnuts were crazy sweet.. if anything.. they were addicting. The doughnuts were packed in their large iconic pink shaped box. Sat inside and enjoyed them. Quite a large crowd on a weekend night. The decor inside is funky, colorful and lively. Staff was friendly as well. If you're strolling through 6th street.. I definitely recommend dropping by. Grab some doughnuts and enjoy in good company. Parking for us wasn't a problem as we parked in the garage and wanted to have a nice walk. Trust me.. you'll need that walk after pecking on a few doughnuts. Until next time Voodoo.. you're spooky good.
